Placement of Asphalt Concrete shall not begin until Asphalt <br />Concrete used in Pavement Repair has been in place for 18 hours. <br />2. Shoulder Backing Material at all intersection radii shall recieve <br />Penetration Treatment at 0.25 gallon/square yard. Limits of the <br />Penetration Treatment work shall be confined to intersection radii <br />plus fifty feet (50') in each direction or to intersection conform. <br />3. Pavement reinforcing fabric shall be placed on leveled or prepared <br />surfacing on top of AC leveling course. <br />4. The Asphalt Concrete shall be placed as noted: <br />0.25' AC — One (1) 0.15' layer of Asphalt Concrete to placed <br />over 0.10' leveling course. <br />5. The Contractor shall conduct the Shoulder Backing operation so <br />as not to disrupt or obstruct any existing drainage. <br />6. The Contractor shall be responsible for adequately scheduling <br />inspection and testing of all facilities constructed under this contract. <br />All testing shall conform to the Standard Specifications. All re—testing <br />shall be paid by the Contractor. <br />7. Contractor shall scarify native soil adjacent to pavement at intersection <br />radii to a depth of 6" and blend Shoulder Backing materials prior to <br />compaction. Limits of this work shall be confined to intersection radii <br />plus 50 feet in each directions.
