Placement of HMA Overlay must not begin until the HMA used in Pavement Repair has been in place for minimum of 18 hours. <br />3. Placement of HMA Driveways must not begin until the HMA used for Mainline Paving has been completed. <br />4. Existing highway and utility facilities must remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />5. Existing trees, shrubs, fences, mailboxes and other frontage improvements must remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />6. Existing drainage facilities must remain in place unless otherwise noted. The Contractor must conduct earthwork operations so as not to modify or obstruct the existing drainage. <br />7. Shoulder Backing material at all intersection radii must receive Penetration Treatment at 0.25 gallon/square yard. Limits of the Penetration Treatment work must be confined to <br />intersection radii plus fifty feet. (50') in each direction or to the intersection conform. <br />8. The Contractor will be responsible for adequately scheduling inspection and testing of all facilities constructed under this contract with a minimum 24 hour prior notice to the County. <br />All testing must conform to the Standard Specifications. All re—testing will be paid by the Contractor. <br />9. The Contractor must exercise due caution and carefully preserve survey bench marks, control points, reference points and all survey stakes, and must bear all expenses for <br />replacement and/or errors caused by their unnecessary loss or disturbance. <br />10. Prior to commencing any work, it will be the Contractor's responsibility to have each utility company locate in the field their main service lines and laterals. The Contractor must notify <br />members of the Underground Service Alert (U.S.A.) 48 hours in advance of performing excavation work by calling the toll free number (1-800-642-2444) or 811 <br />11. Core data is unavailable; however, anticipate varying layers of base and roadway surfacing materials within the sectional planing depth of the existing roadway. <br />12. Place Monument Frame and Cover at various locations, see Summary of Quantities for locations and quantities. <br />13. Removal and disposal of existing monument frames and covers will be required at locations as slated (Replace) on the Summary of Quantities sheet for Place Monument Frame and <br />Cover. Payment for removal and disposal of existing monument frames and covers will be considered as included in the contract unit price paid for Place Monument Frame and Cover. <br />14. The crumpled opening of the CMP inlet is to be restored by bending the pipe end to reestablish the opening at the location shown on the plans.
