All existing trees, shrubs, fences and other frontage improvements are to remain in place unless otherwise noted.
2 Existing drainage facilities shall remain in place unless otherwise noted. The Contractor shall conduct earthwork operations so as not to modify or obstruct the existing drainage.
1 All earthwork, except for final grading of the shoulders, shall be completed prior to placing final layer of Asphalt Concrete. No Shoulder Backing shall be deposited or drifted on the final lift of
asphalt concrete surfacing. Where the Shoulder Backing placement exceeds 0.30' in thickness, the Shoulder Backing shall be placed in two fully compacted layers of approximately equal thickness.
4, Placement of AC overlay shall not begin until the Asphalt Concrete used in pavement repair has been in place for 18 hours.
5: Asphalt Concrete overlay shall be placed in Two (2) Layers of approximately equal thickness with Pavement Reinforcing Fabric placed on the existing surface.
6. Shoulder backing material at all intersection radii shall receive penetration treatment at 0.25 gallon/square yard. Limits of the Penetration Treatment work shall be confined to intersection radii
plus fifty feet (50') in each direction.
7 Hand Grinding of Asphalt Concrete Pavement will be required at locations where utility covers or monument boxes are within the Pavement Repair areas. Payment for hand
grinding shall be considered as included in the contract unit price paid for Pavement Repair.
8. Existing Maintenance Holes are surrounded by a 5' X 5' AC pad. The Contractor shall place new AC, matching new grade of pavement, prior to Adjusting Frame and Cover
(SSJID Maintenance Hole). See Sheet 6 for details. Placement of AC shall be considered as paid for under the various items of work involved
COUNTY OF SAN JOAQ UIN NO SCALE TYPICAL SECTION AND DODDS ROAD RESURFACING Sheet No.
GENERAL NOTES ( Mariposa Road to Escalon—Bellota Road) 2 of 7
DRAWN BY DATE PROJECT ENGINEER DATE CHECKED BY DATE
5, a
-1— Ag-uilar 06112,
9 -
LEFT
RIGHT
BEGIN
END
DETAIL BEGIN
END DETAIL
10+36
29+50
1 10+36
38+50 1
29+50
56+70
2 38+50
56+60 2
56+70
77+00
1 56+60
119+90 1
77+00
128+20
2 119+90
135+70 2
For Sta
Concrete
128+20 to Sta 135+60 (Left) See Sacked
Slope Protection Detail on Sheet 5
GENERAL NOTES:
1.
