The rubberized asphalt concrete shall be placed in one <br />(1) layer. <br />2. Material generated from planing may be thoroughly <br />blended with native material and compacted to 90% <br />relative compaction in shoulder backing area. Planed <br />material shall be capped with a minimum of 0.10' <br />shoulder backing. <br />3. Placement of asphalt concrete overlay shall not begin <br />until the asphalt concrete used in pavement repair has <br />been in place for 12 hours. <br />4. Shoulder backing material at all intersection radii shall <br />receive penetration treatment at 0.25 gallon/square yard. <br />Limits of the penetration treatment shall be confined to <br />the intersection radii plus fifty feet (50') in each direction <br />or to the intersection conform. <br />5. Traffic Stripes and Pavement Markings layout must be <br />approved by Engineer prior to placing themosplastic on <br />finished surface.
