Existing drainage facilities shall remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />2. Street side Storm Drain Inlets shall be protected from liquid runoff sediments and chemical pollutant in a manner consistent with the requirements of the National Pollution <br />Discharge Eliminating System (NPDES) General Construction Permit and per Special Provisions. <br />3. All existing trees, shrubs, fences and other frontage improvements are to remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />4. Placement of asphalt concrete overlay shall not begin until the asphalt concrete used in pavement repair has been in place for 18 hours. <br />5. Hand Grinding of Asphalt Concrete Pavement will be required at locations where valve covers, or maintenance holes are within the planing limits. Payment for hand grinding shall <br />be considered as included in the contract unit price paid for Planing Asphalt Concrete Pavement. <br />6. Install Expansion Joints at beginning and end of new Curb, Gutter and Sidewalk and between new sidewalks and existing driveways.
