Placement of Asphalt Concrete Overlay shall not begin until the Asphalt <br />Concrete used in Pavement Repair has been in place for a minimum of 18 hours. <br />3. All earthwork, except for final shoulder grading, shall be completed prior to <br />placing the final layer of Asphalt Concrete. <br />4. Existing highway and utility facilities, including bollards, roadside signs, trees, <br />shrubs, fences etc. shall remain in place unless otherwise noted on the plans. <br />5. Shoulder Backing Material at all intersection radii shall receive Penetration Treatment <br />at 0.25 gallon/SY. Limits of Penetration Treatment work shall be confined to <br />intersection radii plus fifty feet (50') in each direction or to intersection conform. <br />6. The Contractor shall be responsible for adequately scheduling inspection and <br />testing of all facilities constructed under this contract. All testing shall conform <br />to the Standard Specifications. All re—testing shall be paid by the Contractor. <br />7. Hand grinding of Asphalt Concrete Pavement will be required at locations where <br />existing monuments are within the Planing and Pavement Repair limits. <br />8.
