Placement of Asphalt Concrete shall not begin until the Asphalt <br />Concrete used in Pavement Repair has been in place for 18 hours. <br />2. Shoulder Backing Material at all intersection radii shall receive <br />Penetration Treatment at 0.25 gallon/square yard. Limits of the <br />Penetration Treatment work shall be confined to intersection radii plus <br />fifty feet (50') in each direction or to intersection conform. <br />3. The Asphalt Concrete shall be placed as noted: <br />0.25' A.C. - One (1) 0.13'layer of Asphalt Concrete to be <br />placed over 0.12' leveling course. <br />4. The Contractor shall conduct the Shoulder Backing operation so as <br />not to disrupt or obstruct any existing drainage. <br />5. The Contractor shall be responsible for adequately scheduling <br />inspection and testing of all facilities constructed under this contract. <br />All testing shall conform to the standard specifications.
