Match new joint and score mark spacing to existing whenever possible. <br />2. Install Expansion Joints at beginning and end of new sidewalk. <br />3. All new CG&S shall conform to the existing flowline elevations, with a straight <br />grade between conforms except those locations where grades are indicated on <br />plans. <br />4. Existing drainage facilities, fences, water valves, trees, shrubs, poles, signs, and <br />CG&S shall remain in place unless otherwise noted on the plans. <br />5. At locations where existing and new CG&S join, a 4' (minimum) to 5' <br />(maximum) transition shall be constructed. <br />6. All Minor Concrete (CG&S), (Sidewalk) & (Driveway) work that is to be removed <br />shall be saw cut and/or removed to the limits shown on the plans. The cost <br />for saw cutting shall be considered as paid for under the various items of <br />work involved. <br />7. All storm drain inlets, including those being adjusted, shall be protected from <br />liquid runoff sediment and chemical pollutant in a manner consistent with the <br />requirements of the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) <br />General Construction Permit. <br />8. Any reference to Class B concrete in these Plans or the Special Provisions <br />shall be amended to read "Class 3 concrete". <br />9.
