All existing trees, shrubs, fences and other frontage improvements are <br />to remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />2. All earthwork, except for final grading of the shoulders, shall be <br />completed prior to placing final layer of Asphalt Concrete. No Shoulder <br />Backing shall be deposited or drifted on the final layer of Asphalt <br />Concrete surfacing. Where the Shoulder Backing placement exceeds 0.30' <br />in thickness, the Shoulder Backing shall be placed in two fully <br />compacted layers. <br />3. The Contractor shall be responsible for adequately scheduling inspecting <br />and testing of all facilities constructed under this contract. Placement of Asphalt Concrete overlay shall not begin until the Asphalt <br />Concrete used in leveling has been in place for 18 hours. <br />5. Shoulder Backing material at all intersection radii shall receive <br />penetration treatment at 0.25 gallon/square yard. Limits of the <br />penetration treatment work shall be confined to intersection radii plus <br />fifty feet (50') in each direction or to the intersection conform. <br />6. Existing Storm Drain Inlets to remain in place. <br />7. All vegetation rooted within the ditch area shall be removed. All <br />vegetation encroaching on the ditch area shall be trimmed.
