All earthwork (except <br />for final shoulder grading) shall be completed <br />prior to placing final <br />layer of Asphalt Concrete. No Shoulder Backing <br />shall be deposited or <br />drifted on the final layer of Asphalt Concrete <br />surfacing. Where the <br />shoulder placement exceeds 0.30' in thickness, <br />the Shoulder Backing <br />shall be placed in two (2) fully compacted layers. <br />4. Existing highway and <br />utility facilities, including bollards, roadside signs, <br />trees, shrubs, fences, <br />utility poles and other frontage improvements <br />shall remain in place <br />unless otherwise noted. <br />5. Shoulder Backing material at all intersection radii shall receive <br />penetration treatment <br />at 0.25 gallon/square yard.
