Shoulder Backing Material at all intersection radii shall receive penetration <br />treatment at 0.25 gollon/square yard. Limits of the penetration treatment <br />work shall be confined to the intersection rodii plus fifty feet (50') <br />in each direction or to the intersection conform. <br />2. The asphalt concrete shall be placed in two (2) layers of approximately <br />equal thickness with pavement reinforcing fabric placed on existing or <br />prepared surface. <br />3. All Pavement Repair, A.C. Leveling and A.C. Bose must be completed <br />12 hours prior to placement of asphalt concrete overlay. <br />4. Existing drainage facilities shall remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />The Contractor shall conduct eorthwork operations so as not to modify <br />or obstruct the existing drainage. <br />5. All earthwork, except final grading of the shoulders, shall be completed <br />prior to placing final layer of asphalt concrete. No Shoulder Backing <br />shall be deposited or drifted onto the final lift of asphalt concrete <br />surfacing. <br />6.
