Payment for hand grinding will be considered as included in the contract unit price paid for Planing AC Pavement. <br />8. <br />All Earthwork, except for final shoulder grading, must be completed prior to placing the final layer of HMA pavement. <br />No Shoulder Backing material will be deposited or drifted on the final layer of HMA surfacing. Where the shoulder placement exceeds 0.50' in <br />thickness, the Shoulder Backing must be `placed in two (2) or more fully compacted layers. <br />9. <br />The Contractor will be responsible for adequately scheduling inspection and testing of all facilities constructed under this contract with a <br />minimum 24 hour notice to the County. All testing must conform to the Standard Specifications. All re–testing will be paid by the Contractor. <br />OFESS/pv� <br />10. <br />The Contractor must exercise due caution and carefully preserve survey bench marks, control points, reference points and all survey stakes, <br />and must bear all expenses for replacement and/or errors caused by their unnecessary loss or disturbance. <br />p� <br />11. <br />The Contractor must obtain all permits and licenses required for the construction and completion of the project, and must perform all work in <br />No. 42581 <br />accordance with requirements and conditions of all permits and approvals applicable to the project. <br />12. <br />The Contractor must .obtain an Encroachment Permit from the State of California for traffic control or any work within the State's jurisdiction. <br />9F c/V11- <br />OF <br />Payment for this will be considered to be included in the various items of work. <br />r CPQ\F <br />13. <br />Shoulder Backing material at all intersection radii must receive Penetration Treatment at 0.25 gallon/square yard.
