Placement of HMA Overlay must not begin until the HMA used in Pavement Repair <br />has been in place for a minimum of 18 hours. <br />3. Placement of HMA Driveways must not begin until the HMA used for Mainline Paving <br />has been completed. <br />4. Existing highway and utility facilities must remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />5. Existing trees, shrubs, fences, mailboxes and other frontage improvements must <br />remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />6. Existing drainage facilities must remain in place unless otherwise noted. All Earthwork, except for final shoulder grading, must be completed prior to placing <br />the final layer of HMA pavement. No Shoulder Backing material will be deposited or <br />drifted onto the final layer of HMA surfacing. Where the shoulder placement <br />exceeds 0.50' in thickness, the Shoulder Backing must be placed in two (2) or <br />more fully compacted layers. <br />8. The Contractor will be responsible for adequately scheduling inspection and testing <br />of all facilities constructed under this contract with a minimum 24 hour notice to <br />the County. All testing must conform to the Standard Specifications.
