(Geosyntec) is planning to destroy up to six (6) groundwater monitoring wells <br />in the San Joaquin County right-of-way. The wells are approximately located at 1020 Stanton <br />Way (MW -105A), 1156 Cameron Way (MW -111A), 1114 McLellan Way (MW -104A), 1130 <br />Sheridan Way (MW -110A), 1017 Calhoun Way (MW -103A), and 6405 Gettysburg Place (MW - <br />005A). Monitoring wells MW -103A, MW -104A, and MW -105A are insured under San Joaquin <br />County Permit Bond Number 021811237, and monitoring wells MW -110A, MW -111A, and <br />MW -005A are insured under Permit Bond Number 021811238. The work is being implemented <br />under the oversight and approval of the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br />(CVRWQCB). The selected driller subcontractor, Penecore Drilling, is a C-57 certified <br />environmental driller. Well Destruction permits will be obtained from the San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Department prior to implementing the work. Geosyntec will supply copies <br />of the approved well destruction permits if requested. Please find the enclosed encroachment <br />permit application package. Included in this application package are the following: <br />• Attachment 1: <br />Encroachment Permit Application <br />• Attachment 2: <br />Monument Preservation Agreement <br />• Attachment 3: <br />LCERT Well Destruction and Surface Completion Design Drawings <br />• Attachment 4: <br />LCERT Well Destruction Work Plan; and <br />• Attachment 5: <br />CVRWQCB Approval of the RDRA Work Plan. <br />• Attachment 6: <br />Traffic Control Plans <br />Pending receipt of the approved encroachment permit, this work is scheduled to begin on <br />October 30u', 2023.
