All earthwork, except for final grading of the <br />shoulders, shall be completed prior to placing <br />finished course of Asphalt Concrete overlay. <br />2. Graveled shoulders shall be constructed by <br />uniformly placing Shoulder Backing material <br />at the rate of 3 tons per station per side. <br />The gravel shoulder between Sta. 25+00± and <br />Sta. 36+50t Lt. shall be limited to the 4' <br />adjacent to the edge of pavement. The completed <br />shoulder shall be graded flush with the edge of <br />pavement. <br />3. Where superelevations exist on horizontal curves, <br />the new surface slope and drainage shall con— <br />form to existing. <br />4. Existing pavement markers may remain in place <br />where the Asphalt Concrete overlay thickness is <br />0.25' or greater. <br />5. Asphalt Concrete shall be place in two layers <br />of approximate equal thickness with pavement <br />reinforcing fabric placed between the layers. <br />6. Placement of the first layer of Asphalt Concrete <br />surfacing shall not begin until Asphalt Concrete <br />used in pavement repair has been in place for <br />as minimum of 36 hours. <br />7.
