Const. <br />GENERAL NOTES: <br />1. Placement of asphalt concrete shall not begin <br />until the asphalt concrete used in Pavement <br />Repair has been in place for 36 hours. <br />2. Frame and cover for manholes shall be adjusted <br />to Finished Grade. Refer to Improvement Std. No. <br />CW—R36 for details. <br />3. Existing drainage facilities are to remain in place. <br />The contractor shall conduct his work as not to <br />modify or obstruct the existing drainage, unless <br />unless otherwise shown on the plans. <br />4. Water/gas valve frames and covers to be adjusted <br />by others after completion of project. <br />5. Surface preparation of the existing ovement <br />(advance leveling and pothole repair shall be directed <br />by the Engineer. Payment for this work will be by Item <br />No. 1 Force Account. <br />6. Shoulder Backing material at all radii shall be blended <br />with the top 6" of native material as directed by the <br />Engineer.
