IwRAFFIC <br />MANAGEMENT <br />I N C O R P O R A T E D <br />GENERAL NOTES <br />1 <br />THIS PLAN CONFORMS TO THE CA MUTCD, LATEST EDITION. <br />2 <br />THE LOCATION OF THE SIGNS SHOWN ON THE PLAN ARE GUIDELINES AND THE ACTUAL LOCATION WILL DEPEND UPON ALIGNMENT, GRADE, LOCATION OF THE STREET <br />INTERSECTIONS, AND 65TH PERCENTILE SPEED. <br />3 <br />NOTIFY LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT, FIRE, AND AMBULANCE COMPANIES WITHIN 72 HOURS BEFORE CONSTRUCTION BEGINS. KEEP OPEN ACCESS FOR EMERGENCY <br />VEHICLES AT ALLTIMES. <br />4 <br />CONTINUAL MONITORING AND MAINTENANCE OF THE TRAFFIC CONTROL ZONE WILL BE IMPLEMENTED FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAINTAINING EMERGENCY ACCESS, AND TO <br />PROVIDE ACCOMMODATIONS FOR PEDESTRIANS, BICYCLE TRAFFIC AND THE DISABLED. <br />5 <br />PROPERLY TRAINED TRAFFIC CONTROLLERS, PROPER DEVICES,& PROPER USE OF THE DEVICES ARE REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES. <br />6 <br />ALL SIGNS IMPLEMENTED WILL ONLY BE VIEWABLE WHEN IN USE, OTHERWISE ALL WARNING DEVICES ARE TO BE TAKEN DOWN OR COVERED. <br />7 <br />NOTHING WILL BE ALLOW ED IN BUFFER/TRANSITION AREA(S) AT ANY TIME. <br />6 <br />ALL CONFLICTING MARKINGS ARE TO BE REMOVED FOR PROJECTS THAT LAST THREE (3) CONTINUOUS DAYS OR LONGER. <br />9 <br />ALL SIGNAGE AND CHANNELIZING DEVICES MUST BE RETROREFLECTIVE OR ILLUMINATED DURING THE NIGHT. MINIMUM VISIBILITY SHALL BE 1000 FEET. <br />10 <br />ONLY ONE SIDEWALK WILL BE CLOSED AT A TIME.
