GENERAL NOTES: <br />1. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR COORDINATION OF <br />THE REMOVAL AND/OR RELOCATION OF ALL EXISTING UTILITIES <br />WITH RESPECTIVE UTILITY COMPANIES. CONTRACTOR SHALL <br />NOTIFY THE OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE OF ANY CONFLICTS <br />BETWEEN EXISTING UTILITIES AND PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS. <br />8. FINAL PAVEMENT WORK SHALL NOT OCCUR PRIOR TO <br />COMPLETION OF UTILITY RELOCATION WITHOUT SPECIFIC <br />APPROVAL OF THE OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE. <br />9 ASBESTOS CEMENT MATERIALS SHALL NOT BE USED IN THE <br />CONSTRUCTION OF ANY FACILITIES WITHIN THIS PROJECT. <br />10. PRIOR TO PLACEMENT OF ANY FINISH ASPHALT CONCRETE OR <br />CONCRETE THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY ALL FINISH GRADES <br />AND SLOPES FOR COMPLIANCE WITH THE AMERICANS WITH <br />DISABILITIES ACT (ADA) AND APPROVAL AND ACCEPTANCE BY <br />COUNTY. <br />11. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FIELD <br />CHANGES MADE WITHOUT WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION FROM THE <br />OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE. <br />12. DURING CONSTRUCTION THE CONTRACTOR SHALL MAINTAIN THE <br />INTEGRITY OF EXISTING FACILITIES. CONTRACTOR SHALL REFERENCE EXISTING MONUMENTS AND/OR <br />PROPERTY CORNER PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT OF WORK. <br />14. WHERE EXISTING FENCES ARE TO BE REMOVED FOR <br />CONSTRUCTION PURPOSES CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE AND <br />REPLACE THE FENCING IN KIND. WHERE THE EXISTING FENCE IS <br />USED FOR PROPERTY SECURITY AND/OR CONTAINMENT <br />CONTRACTOR SHALL ERECT TEMPORARY FENCING (NOT SHOWN <br />ON PLANS) DURING CONSTRUCTION AS DIRECTED BY THE <br />OWNERS REPRESENTATIVE. <br />15. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL KEEP THE WORK SITE FREE AND CLEAR <br />OF RUBBISH AND DEBRIS. <br />2. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL EXERCISE CARE TO PRESERVE AND <br />PROTECT NATURAL HABITAT ADJACENT TO THE PROJECT SITE. <br />3. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT DISCHARGE SMOKE, DUST, OR <br />ANY OTHER AIR CONTAMINANTS INTO THE ATMOSPHERE IN SUCH <br />A QUANTITY AS WILL VIOLATE THE REGULATIONS OF ANY LEGALLY <br />CONSTITUTED AUTHORITY. <br />4. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL KEEP ALL AREAS GENERATING DUST <br />WITHIN THE LIMITS OF THE PROJECT WELL WATERED DURING THE <br />TERM OF THIS CONTRACT. THE CONTRACTOR(S) SHALL KEEP ALL PUBLIC ROADWAYS <br />ADJACENT TO THE PROJECT SITE FREE AND CLEAR OF MUD AND <br />SILT DURING THE TERM OF THIS CONTRACT.
