<br />PAVING NOTES
<br />1. Any Asphalt Concrete surface to be removed shall be sawcut to a neat, straight
<br />line parallel with the street centerline and the exposed edge shall be tacked with
<br />emulsion prior to paving. Any existing concrete surface to be removed shall be
<br />sawcut to a neat, straight line.
<br />2. The CONTRACTOR small pay for compaction tests for subgrade. If compaction

<br />3. The area disturbed by excavation activities should be minimized at all times.

<br />EROSION CONTROL NOTES
<br />1. Streets adjacent to the project site should be swept as needed to remove silt
<br />which may have accumulated from construction activities; daily if needed.
<br />2. The contractor shall be responsible for determining, installing & maintaining any
<br />Best Management Practices (BMPs) required for this project. BMPs may include
<br />catch basin filters and regular street sweeping.
<br />3. All catch basins adjacent to construction area shall be sealed by filters until the
<br />completion of the project. If the work extends into the rainy season, other
<br />measures may be taken as required by the County at no additional cost to the
<br />owner. All storm drainage traps shall be cleaned prior to acceptance of work. No
<br />eroded soil shall be allowed in the Public Right of Way.
