<br />2. LOCATIONS OF POLES, PULL BOXES, CONTROLLER CABINET, EQUIPMENT, AND POSITIONING OF
<br />DETECTORS ARE SCHEMATIC UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. BEFORE BEGINNING ANY CONSTRUCTION
<br />OPERATION, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CHECK FOR CONFLICTS WITH UNDERGROUND OR OVERHEAD
<br />UTILITIES OR OTHER OBSTACLES, IF EQUIPMENT OR POLES MUST BE RELOCATED, THE NEW LOCATION
<br />SHALL BE VERIFIED BY THE ENGINEER PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
<br />3. THE LOCATION OF EXISTING UTILITIES SHOWN ON THE PLAN ARE APPROXIMATE ONLY, THE
<br />CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CONTACTING THE RESPECTIVE UTILITY COMPANIES AND
<br />AFFECTED AGENCIES FOR VERIFICATION OF LOCATION AND DEPTHS OF EXISTING UTILITIES, THE

<br />4. ALL STANDARD CONDUIT RUNS ARE SCHEMATIC ONLY, ALL CONDUIT SHALL BE 3" UNLESS
<br />OTHERWISE NOTED ON PLAN OR DIRECTED BY ENGINEER.
<br />5. ALL WORK MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT SHALL CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE CITY OR
<br />COUNTY STANDARD PLANS WHERE WORK IS PERFORMED, THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
<br />STANDARD PLANS, DATED 2010, AND SPECIFICATIONS, DATED 2010 AND THE SPECIAL PROVISIONS
<br />FOR THIS PROJECT. ALL EQUIPMENT SHALL BE TESTED AND CERTIFIED BY SAID STANDARDS. ALL CERTIFICATES
<br />OF COMPLIANCE SHALL BE SUBMITTED PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
<br />6. UPON COMPLETION OF THE WORK THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CERTIFY THAT ALL WORK WAS
<br />PERFORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS,
<br />VARIATIONS SHALL BE DECLARED AND PRESENTED TO THE ENGINEER ON MARKED—UP DRAWINGS
<br />UPON COMPLETION OF THE CONSTRUCTION.
<br />7. CONTRACTOR WILL BE SOLELY AND COMPLETELY RESPONSIBLE FOR WORKING CONDITIONS ON THE
<br />JOB SITE, INCLUDING SAFETY OF ALL PERSONS AND PROPERTY DURING PERFORMANCE THE WORK,
<br />THIS REQUIREMENT WILL NOT BE LIMITED TO NORMAL WORKING HOURS, WORK SHALL NOT BEGIN
<br />UNTIL ADEQUATE TEMPORARY BARRICADES, BARRIERS, FENCES, WARNING AND CONTROL DEVICES
<br />ARE IN PLACE AS REQUIRED BY THE CONTRACT.
<br />8. CONTRACTOR SHALL REPAIR/REPLACE ALL LANDSCAPING, IRRIGATION, CURBS,
<br />SERVICES, LOOP DETECTORS, SIDEWALK, ETC., DAMAGED DURING CONSTRUCTION
<br />AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO THE CONTRACT.
