Brunswick Road: <br />(From Sta 10+12 to Sta 22+25) Place 0.17' Hot Mix Asphalt Overlay in one (1) layer <br />with Geosynthetic Interlayer (Paving fabric) placed on the existing or prepared surface. <br />(From Sta 22+25 to Sta 22+75) Place Hot Mix Asphalt Transition in two (2) layers <br />with Geosynthetic Interlayer (Paving fabric) placed on the existing or prepared surface. <br />(From Sta 22+75 to Sta 35+34) Place 0.25' Hot Mix Asphalt Overlay in two (2) <br />layers with approximate equal thickness with Geosynthetic Interlayer (Paving fabric) <br />placed on the existing or prepared surface. <br />Scottsdale Road: Place 0.25' Hot Mix Asphalt Overlay in two (2) layers of approximate <br />equal thickness with Geosynthetic Interlayer (paving fabric) placed between the layers. <br />2. Placement of Hot Mix Asphalt Overlay cannot begin until the Hot Mix Asphalt used in <br />Pavement Repair has been in place for a minimum of 18 hours. <br />3. Placement of Hot Mix Asphalt Driveways must not begin until the Hot Mix Asphalt used <br />for Mainline Paving has been completed, <br />4, Existing highway and utility facilities must rernain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />5. Existing trees, shrubs, fences, mailboxes and other frontage improvements must remain <br />in place unless otherwise noted. <br />6, All Earthwork, except for final shoulder grading, must be completed prior to placing the <br />final layer of Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement. No Shoulder Backing material will be deposited <br />or drifted on the final layer of Hot Mix Asphalt surfacing. Where the shoulder placement <br />exceeds 0.50' in thickness, the Shoulder Backing must be placed in two (2) or more <br />fully compacted layers. <br />7. Shoulder Backing material at all intersection radii must receive Penetration Treatment at. <br />0.25 gallon/square yard. Limits of the Penetration Treatment work must be continued <br />to intersection radii plus fifty feet (50') in each direction or to the intersection conform. <br />B. The Contractor will be responsible for adequately scheduling inspection and testing of all <br />facilities constructed under this contract with a minimum 24 hours notice to the County. <br />All testing must conform to the Standard Specifications. All retesting will be paid by <br />the Contractor. <br />9, The Contractor must obtain all permits and licenses required for the construction and <br />completion of the project, and must perform all work in accordance with the require— <br />ments and conditions of all permits and approvals applicable to the project. <br />1' <br />10. The Contractor must exercise due caution and carefully preserve survey bench marks, <br />D control points, reference points and all survey stakes, and must bear all expenses for <br />replacement and/or errors caused by their unnecessary loss or disturbance. <br />_ 11. Prior to commencing any work, it will be the Contractor's responsibility to each utility <br />company locate in the field their main service lines and laterals. The Contractor must <br />notify members of the Underground Service Alert (U.S.A.) 48 hours in advance of <br />performing excavation work by calling the toll free number 1-800-227-2600 or 811. <br />12. The Contractor must field verify all existing highway and utility facilities' locations and <br />depths. It will be the Contractor's sole responsibility to locate and protect all existing <br />highway and utility facilities, so that no damage results to them during the performance <br />of this contract.
