<br />GENERAL NOTES: _
<br />1. Before submitting the bid proposal the Electrical Contractor shall visit the job site and
<br />fully acquaint himself with the job conditions and verify service connection including all
<br />necessary pull boxes, size and number of conduits and conductors, switchgear, metering,
<br />cable charges, etc., whether are shown on drawings or not, but required to make a
<br />complete and operating electrical service without additional cost to Owner. Verify service
<br />with the Landlord or Landlord's Representative.
<br />2, The Electrical Contractor shall coordinate his work with that of all others, to install
<br />lighting fixtures symmetrically with titles and/or dimensions to accommodate fixtures
<br />with other equipment installations. Prior to finish of affected work the Electrical Contractor
<br />shall instruct the Owner and/or Manager on the use and maintenance of the electrical
<br />system.
<br />3. The Electrical Contractor shall verify all requirements of mechanical equipment with
<br />mechanical drawings and specifications. The Electrical Contractor shall furnish and install
<br />all items required by the air conditioning, heating, and ventilating Contractor for a
<br />complete installation.
<br />4. Fixtures and equipment locations indicated are based preliminary layouts. Exact locations
<br />shall be verified.
<br />5. Running over current protection and disconnect means, shall be installed on all motors
<br />to comply with code.
<br />6. A pull wire shall be installed in all conduits marked "C.O,"
<br />7. All disconnect switches shall be horsepower rated for the motor connected to switch.
<br />8. The Electrical Contractor shall do all work required to provide temporary electrical service
<br />for construction illumination and power for all trades. All cost of labor and material
<br />required for electrical service shall be included in the electrical contract.
<br />9. The Electrical Contractor shall verify the exact ceiling being furnished before ordering
<br />fixture noted, either at the job side or with the architect and shall provide the necessary
<br />hardware for a complete installation
<br />10. The Mixing Room is classified as class L Division 1 per 500-7(a) of the NEC.
<br />All electrical equipment in this room shall be approved for
<br />Class I Division 1 location, including switches, receptacles and light fixtures.
<br />All wiring methods and sealing in these areas shall be in accordance with
<br />N.E.C. Section 501, for Class I Division 1 areas.
<br />11. All remaining interior spaces except rooms 104, 105, 106, 107, & 108 area classified
<br />as Class I Division 2 per 500-7(b) of the NEC.
<br />All electrical equipment in these rooms shall be approved for Class I, Division 2 areas
