Use closed end units at corners and ends as appropriate. Use special <br />texture or colored block as required by Architectural drawings. Solid grout all <br />cells. Mortar shall conform to ASTM C270, Type s, with a minimum <br />compressive strength of 2000 psi. Grout shall have a fluid consistency strength <br />of 2000 psi. <br />Masonry construction shall conform to the requirements of Section 2104 of the <br />1997 Uniform Building Code. Specific attention shall be paid to reinforcing <br />steel placement.
