A standby natural gas motor and power generator sized to well pump shall be installed to the exact recommen- <br />dations of the manufacturer. The motor shall run the generator at the design RPM. The motor shall be <br />equipped with a battery for manual starting in the event of paver failure. The motor and generator shall <br />be mounted on a emit skid anchored to the floor. The motor exhaust shall be muffled and exit the building <br />through an approved asbestos sleeve and flashing. The building shall be supplied with a 110 volt battery <br />charter. <br />he automatic engine controls shall be such that in the event of a power failure, power sens- <br />ng relays and pressure control switch will provide power to the pump. Automatic controls <br />hail be approved by San Joaquin County Department of Public Works. <br />ELECTRICAL NOTES <br />1. All electrical work and equipment shall conform with Title 24, Part 3 of the California Administrative <br />Code, the National Electrical Code, OSHA Electrical requirements and local county and utility requirements. <br />2. Circuit breaker for convenience outlet circuit shall be Quicklag ground fault type. <br />3. All equipment shall be grounded with ground conductor in the conduit runs. All grounds shall be interconnected. <br />4. All conduit shall be Sch. 40 PVC - Minimum size 3/4". <br />5. Conductors shall be copper with THW insulation. Wire No. 10 and smaller shall be solid conductor. No. 8 <br />and larger shall be stranded. All control wire shall be stranded. Minimum wire size shall be No. 12 in <br />the light and power systems and No. 14 for control. Grounding conductors shall be insulated. <br />6.
