The Contractor shall obtain an encroachment <br />permit from the County of San Joaquin prior <br />to start of construction within the County <br />right-of-way and shall comply with all pro- <br />visions of the permit. <br />2. Excess earth material, free of road paving <br />and other debris may be deposited on the <br />school site provided it is evenly spread in <br />a layer not exceeding 0.2' thick. All other <br />excess material shall be disposed of by the <br />Contractor at his own expense. <br />3. All work shall be in accordance with the <br />County of San Joaquin Standard Plans and <br />Specifications. <br />4. Concrete for curb, gutter and sidewalk con- <br />struction shall be Class B conforming to the <br />Provisions of Section 90 of the Cal -Trans <br />Standard Specifications. <br />5. Asphalt concrete paving shall be Type B <br />conforming to the requirements of Section <br />39 of the Cal -Trans Standard Specifications. <br />6. Stationing shown on this plan conforms to <br />that shown on the street improvement plans <br />of the subdivision Oak Creek, Unit.No. 2. 1' <br />7. Contractor agrees that he shall assume sole I> <br />and complete responsibility for job site <br />conditions during the course of construction <br />of the project, including safety of all per- <br />sons and property; that this requirement shall <br />apply continuously and not be limited to <br />normal working hours; and that the Contractor <br />shall defend, indemnify and hold the Owner and <br />the Engineer harmless from any and all liability Al <br />real or alleged, in connection with the per- <br />formance of work on this Project, excepting for <br />liability arising from the sole negligence of <br />the Owner or the Engineer. <br />8.
