<br />GENERAL NOTES
<br />1, Contractor shall obtain an Encroachment Permit from
<br />the City of Stockton Department of Public Works prior
<br />to starting any work within the City Right -of ---Way.
<br />2. Contractor shall notify the City of Stockton Department
<br />of Public Works at least 48 hours prior to start of
<br />construction,
<br />3. All work within the City's Right--of---Way shall conform
<br />to Section 100 of the City's Standard Specifications.
<br />4. Contractor shall. notify U.S,A. at least 48 hours prior
<br />to any excavation operations by calling 1-800442-2444.
<br />5. No valve or other control on. an existing system shall
<br />be operated for any purpose by the Contractor. The
<br />Contractor shall coordinate with City of Stockton
<br />Municipal Utilities Department and/or San Joaquin County
<br />Utilities Maintenance Division to operate any valve, hydrant,
<br />blowoff or curbstop.
<br />6. Contractor shall possess a Class A Contractors license at
<br />the time this contract is awarded.
