All threaded ends shall be NPT threads unless called out otherwise. <br />2. All ductile iron pipe for the water booster pump station shall be <br />class 50 with cement mortar lining. The external surfaces of the <br />above ground ductile iron piping shall be painted light blue with an <br />epoxy enamel. Buried ductile iron piping shall have an external <br />coating of coal tar epoxy at least 1 mil thick and two layers of <br />polyethylene encasement. All ductile iron piping and related items <br />shall conform to the latest revision of the applicable AWWA <br />standards (C104, C105, C110, C1119 C115 and C151). <br />3. Piping for the chlorinator which is in a vault or above ground shall <br />be painted green with an epoxy enamel. Above ground piping <br />for the emergency eyewash shower shall be painted red with an <br />epoxy enamel. <br />4. Details for all thrust blocks within the water booster pump station <br />compound are given on sheet 57. Details for all other thrust blocks <br />in this project are given on sheet 59. <br />5.
