<br />1. Placement of Asphalt Concrete surfacing shall not begin until the Asphalt
<br />Concrete used in Pavement Repair has been in place for 12 hours.
<br />2. Asphalt Concrete surfacing shall be placed as follows:
<br />0,12' A,C,- One (1) layer with fabric over existing pavement,
<br />0,35', and 0,40' A,C,- Two (2) layers of approximate equal thickness
<br />with pavement reinforcing fabric in between the layers.
<br />3. Excavated material generated by pavement repair/reconstruction and planing
<br />shall become the property of the contractor and shall be disposed of
<br />outside the right of way.
<br />4. All earthwork (except for final shoulder grading) shall be completed prior to
<br />placing final layer of Asphalt Concrete. No shoulder backing material sholl
<br />be deposited or drifted on the final lift of Asphalt Concrete surfacing.
<br />5. Existing drainage facilities, fences, water valves, frames and covers,
<br />sprinkler heads, trees and shrubs shall remain in place unless otherwise
<br />noted on the plans, The Contractor shall conduct earthwork operations so
<br />as not to modify or obstruct the existing drainage.
<br />6. Contractor shall compact disturbed Aggregate Bose to 95 percent relative
<br />compaction prior to placement of Portland Cement Concrete Pavement.
