D03 — HI SYSTEM PRESSURE DOX-009 T
Each pump shall be controlled by the PLC (N) Booster Pump Control Logic, when the pumps H01 switch is in the
Auto" position and the "New Mode" is 'Enabled' through the O/D or (F) HMI. Under the conditions the control logic
shat/ start and stop the pumps based on the pressure values in the distribution system as determined by the AD4 — LO SYSTEM PRESSURE
distribution system pressure transmitter. The control logic shall start the lead pump at 40 psi, th : lag at 35 psi, DO -010 + DOX-010 T
and the log—lag at 30 psi on falling pressure. On rising pressure, turn off the lag—log pump at JO psi, the lag at
55 psi, and the lead at 60 psi. The control logic shall start an internal timer when the lead pump has shutdown on TO AUTOD/ALER
rising pressure. The pumps shall be locked out from restarting until this timer has completed its `iming cycle. Timer
shall be adjustable from 0-99 minutes with initial setting to be 10 minutes. AD5 —CHL. RESID. Hl +DOX-011 T
DO -011
The control logic shall monitor to distribution system low pressure switch from the well PLC (PLC- 2) via Ethernet and
shall override the above control logic to run all pumps when the low pressure switch has activated and shall utilize AD6 —CHL. The override cor,,rol described here DO -012 DOX-012T
shall override the restart time lock.
(N) CHLORINE INJECTION CONTROL
—LO TANK
Chlorine injection shall be controlled by the PLC using a PID loop with
the Chlorine Residual Ano/y,,er (AIT1) as the
AD7 — XXX
DOX-013'x'
monitoring device. The PLC shall accept an Operator Settable Set point
via the O/D & (F) HMI for desired dosing. The
DO -013
T
PLC shall send a pacing signal to the Chlorine Metering Pump (MPI) in order to maintain the desired set point
0
W
against the measured chlorine residual value. The PLC shall produce a
Deviation from set point alarm at t or —
n.
Q
___mg/L of the set point.
W
Q
AD8 — XXX
J1
DOX-014
Z
Z
0
DO -014
T
(N) SEQUESTERING CONTROL
0-
0.
thU
A sequestering agent is to be injected into the effluent flow from the
storage tank, paced from , 7e outlet flow, using
0
z
the flowmeter on the effluent side of the tank.
FLOW METER LOGIC:
Total volume of water pumped is calculated on hourly, daily and weekly basis from flow meter analogue input.
