LIT <br />T <br />LlT TANK LEVEL <br />PLC -2 Al -001 <br />(4-20mADC) <br />MODES OF OPERATION <br />Operator will select mode of operation from WTP (F) HMl/0/D. "EX/ST/NG MODE' using existing booster pumps, <br />through hydropneumatic tank. "NEW MODE' using four new booster pumps, with a lead, lag, lag -1:g configuration, <br />including a stand-by. <br />PUMP AUTO SEQUENCE <br />LOG/C: <br />1 <br />The pump auto <br />sequencer control logic <br />shall control the starting sequence <br />of the three (N) booster pumps. The three <br />pumps shall be <br />alternated as to which <br />pump is lead, lag, or lag -lag for <br />each pumping cycle. <br />PLC -2 DI -003/011/019I Note: A pumping cycle is defined as completed when al/ pumps are off. Clearwell level is displayed on O!D and run call to well comes from (E) BOOSTER PUMP #1 <br />well pump on and off setpoints in the PLC. The PLC also has high clearwell level alarm at 4.8' c:id low clearwefl <br />level alarm at 3.1 '. High clearwell level also blocks well run and /ow clearwell leve/ blocks run of (E) booster pumps. <br />Well pump run is interlocked to run blower whenever well is called to run. Sodium Hex Pump is interlocked to run <br />whenever well pump is called to run. <br />(E) Booster pumps are called to run from system pressure switches via the PLC, which shall alternate each (E) M <br />1 E BOOSTER PUMP 7f2 RUNNING <br />booster pump as to lead and lag for each pumping cycle (lead 'on' at 40 psi and 'off' at 60 p.i lag 'on' at 30 T PLC -2 D1-011NOT AND T.D. The control system for the hydropneumatic tank with its pressure switch is self-contained at the �A (E) BOOSTER PUMP #2 HOA IN AUTO' AND PLC -2 DO -003 + DOX-003T <br />hydropneumatic tank. <br />PLC -2 D1-010 (E) BOOSTER PUMP 12 <br />NEW MODE <br />WELL SITE CONTROL LOGIC <br />The PLC shall read the level transmitter, measuring static air pressure in the bubbler tube. The C.-Jarwell Level <br />Transmitter (Bubbler System) shall provide a call to run the well when clearwell level drops to 3.2' and shall shut off <br />well at 4.5' (wet well is - 6' deep). Clearwell leve/ shall be displayed on OID. The PLC also sho : incorporate high <br />clearwell level 4.8' and low clearwell level 3.1' alarms. High c/earwe# level shall also block well r. -n and /ow clearwell M <br />1WELL PUMP RUNNING <br />leve/ shall block run of booster pumps. Well pump run is interlocked to run blower whenever welt' is called to run. T PLC -2 D/-019 NOT TD, WELL PUMP <br />Sodium Hex Pump is interlocked to run whenever well pump is called to run. AND 90 SEC. FAIL TO RUN <br />The well pump control logic shall also incorporate operation of the existing three way solenoid purge valve. The WELL PUMP START <br />control logic shall operate the solenoid for six seconds every hour, isolating the level transmitter -nd purging the air �A WELL PUMP HDA /N 'AUTO' AND pLCl-2 DOP 001 + DOX-001 T WELL PUMP <br />tube, manual 6 -second duration purge shall also be selectable through the 0/D. <br />PLC -2 D1-018 <br />(EJ BOOSTER PWC (N) STORAGE TANK CONTROL <br />The (N) storage tank leve/ tranmitter (LIT1) value shall be monitored by the PLC. The PLC shall call the lead (E) <br />booster pump at a tank level of 23.5ft and call the lag (E) booster (N) pump at 23.Oft. On rising level, the lag <br />pump shall shutoff at 25.5ft and the lead pump shall shutoff at 27.75ft. The PLC shall o/arm, or a LO -LO level of <br />22.5ft and H1_H/ level of 28.5ft. <br />Low distribution pressure alarm is less then 30 psi and Hl distribution pressure is greater then 60 psi. (E) MP <br />E CHLORINE METERING PUMP RUN COMMAND + DOX-006 T <br />(E) Chlorine injection system is interlocked to run whenever either (E) booster pump runs. DO -006 <br />PUMP INTERLOCKS (TYP.
