<br />9. ALL UNDERGROUND UTILITIES SHALL BE IN PLACE PRIOR TO INSTALLATION OF ANY CURB, GUTTER, SIDEWALK, AND STREET PAVING.
<br />10. ALL STATIONS REFER TO DISTANCES ALONG CONSTRUCTION CENTERLINE, PERPENDICULAR TO OR RADIAL FROM THE CENTERLINE STATIONS, UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.
<br />11. ALL UTILITIES AND OBSTRUCTIONS SHOWN ARE APPROXIMATE. IT IS THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO VERIFY THE LOCATION AND DEPTH WITH THE APPROPRIATE

<br />IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIAL PROVISIONS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY THE ENGINEER IMMEDIATELY REGARDING ANY DISCREPANCIES OR AMBIGUITIES WHICH MAY EXIST.
<br />13. IT SHALL BE THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO NOTIFY THE ENGINEER OF ANY DIFFERENCES IN LOCATION OF EXISTING UTILITIES FROM THAT SHOWN, OR ANY OTHER
<br />CONFLICTS WITH THE DESIGN BEFORE CONTINUING WITH WORK IN THAT AREA.
<br />14. IT SHALL BE THE CONTRACTOR'S SOLE RESPONSIBILITY TO PROTECT ALL EXISTING UTILITIES SO THAT NO DAMAGE RESULTS TO THEM DURING THE PERFORMANCE OF THIS
<br />CONTRACT.
<br />15. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE REQUIRED TO COOPERATE WITH OTHER CONTRACTORS AND UTILITY COMPANIES INSTALLING NEW STRUCTURES, UTILITIES AND SERVICE TO THE
<br />PROJECT.
<br />16. PRIOR TO COMMENCING ANY WORK, IT SHALL BE THE CONTRACTORS RESPONSIBILITY TO HAVE EACH UTILITY COMPANY LOCATE IN THE FIELD THEIR MAIN AND SERVICE
<br />LINES.
<br />17. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY THE MEMBERS OF THE UNDERGROUND SERVICE ALERT (U.S.A.) 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE OF PERFORMING EXCAVATION WORK BY CALLING
<br />THE TOLL- FREE NUMBER 1-800-227-2600.
<br />18. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROTECTING EXISTING IMPROVEMENTS FROM DAMAGE. THE COST OF REPLACING EXISTING IMPROVEMENTS SHALL BE DONE
<br />AT CONTRACTOR'S EXPENSE.
<br />19. A CITY OF STOCKTON REPRESENTATIVE SHALL BE PRESENT DURING ALL CONSTRUCTION WORK RELATED TO SANITARY SEWERS.
<br />20. THE CONTRACTOR'S ATTENTION IS DIRECTED TO: SECTION 1540 (o) (1) OF THE CONSTRUCTION SAFETY ORDERS (TITLE 8 CALIFORNIA ADMINISTRATION CODE SECTION
<br />1540), ISSUED BY THE OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARDS BOARD PURSUANT TO THE CALIFORNIA OCCUPATIONS SAFETY AND HEALTH ACT OF 1973 AS AMENDED

<br />"PRIOR TO OPENING AN EXCAVATION, EFFORT SHALL BE MADE TO DETERMINE WHETHER UNDERGROUND INSTALLATIONS; I.E., SEWER, WATER, FUEL, ELECTRIC LINES, ETC.,
<br />WILL BE ENCOUNTERED AND IF SO, WHERE SUCH UNDERGROUND INSTALLATIONS ARE LOCATED. WHEN THE EXCAVATION APPROACHES THE APPROXIMATE LOCATION OF
