Placement of rubberized asphalt concrete surfacing shall not begin until the <br />asphalt concrete used in pavement repair has been in place for 18 hours. <br />2. Utility frames and covers shall be adjusted to grade after the resurfacing project is <br />complete. <br />3. Hand grinding of asphalt concrete pavement will 6e r9quired at locations where water <br />valvl,s, detector loops, utility boxes, and maintenance holes are within the planing <br />limit and pavement repair. Also, hand grind 6' around all S.D.I.'s when in paving <br />limits. <br />4. Existing pavement markers shall be removed and prepare surface prior to placing the <br />rubberized asphalt concrete. <br />5. Street side storm drain inlets shall be protected from water runoff, sediments, and <br />chemical pollutant in a manner consistent with the require lents of the (N.P.D.E.S.) <br />and S.W.P.P.P. <br />6. On curb ramps with no detectable warning surface, the contractor shall place <br />detectable warning surfaces as shown on the plans. The cost for this item is to be <br />included in the retrofit curb ramp detectable warning surface item of work. <br />7. All new curb, gutter and sidewalk shall conform to the existing flowline elevations, <br />with a straight grade between conforms. <br />8. Asphalt concrete (miscellaneous areas) shall be placed in two lifts. <br />9. Install expansion joints at B.C.R. and E.C.R. and at beginning and end of new <br />sidewalk. <br />10. All minor concrete work (Including ADA ramps, and curb, gutter and sidewalk) that <br />is to be removed shall be saw cut to the limits shown on the plans. The cost of <br />the saw cutting is to be included in the minor concrete (curb, gutter and sidewalk) <br />item of work. <br />11. Part circle culverts and steel plating at driveways are to remain in place unless <br />otherwise directed by the Engineer. <br />12. Reference to class "B" concrete in these plans or special provisions shall be <br />considered the same as class 3 concrete. <br />13. Adjust sanitary sewer maintenance holes per City of Stockton Std. Dwg. 39 and Dwg. 54. <br />14. Adjust storm drain maintenance holes per S.J. Co. Std.
