CONTRACTOR SHALL FAMILIARIZE HIMSELF WITH THE ACTUAL SITE CONDITIONS PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTIONAND FOR ANY UNIQUE CIRCUMSTANCES AND/OR DISCREPANCIES THAT MAY EXIST.2. CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS CALLED OUT ON THE PLANS, ELEVATIONS, SECTIONS, ETC.TO DETERMINE POTENTIAL DISCREPANCIES OR CONFLICTS PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION .3. IT IS THE CONTRACTORS RESPONSIBILITY TO FAMILIARIZE THEMSELVES AND ADHERE TO ALL THECALIFORNIA GREEN BUILDING STANDARDS WHETHER OUTLINED IN THIS SET OF PLANS OR NOT AND TOPROVIDE ALL NECESSARY FORMS TO THE GOVERNING AGENCIES.4. CONTRACTORS SHALL VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS, CONDITIONS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND DETAILS PRIOR TOTHE FABRICATION AND START OF ANY WORK. DO NOT SCALE DRAWINGS. ONLY WRITTEN DIMENSIONS ARETO BE USED, UNLESS REPORTED. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DIMENSIONALINCONSISTENCIES AND PROBABLE REMEDIAL WORK.5. IN THE EVENT THAT CERTAIN FEATURES OF THE CONSTRUCTION ARE NOT SHOWN, THEN THEIRCONSTRUCTION SHALL BE OF THE SAME CHARACTER AS FOR SIMILAR CONDITIONS THAT ARE SHOWN ORCALLED FOR.6. THE REMOVAL AND CUTTING, DRILLINGS, ETC. OF EXISTING WORK SHALL BE PERFORMED WITH GREATCARE WITH SMALL TOOLS IN ORDER NOT TO JEOPARDIZE THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF THE BUILDING.7. THE CONTRACTOR, SUB CONTRACTORS, AND OWNER SHALL HOLD HARMLESS, INDEMNIFY AND DEFENDTHE PLAN MAKER AND THEIR CONSULTANTS FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY CLAIMS, LOSES, OR DAMAGESARISING OR ALLEGED TO ARISE FROM THE PERFORMANCE OF THE WORK DESCRIBED IN THESECONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS.8. CONTRACTOR AND OWNER SHALL HOLD PLAN MAKER HARMLESS FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, REAL ORALLEGED, IN CONNECTION WITH THE PERFORMANCE OF WORK ON THIS PROJECT.9. CONTRACTOR/OWNER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CRACKED, DAMAGED OR DISPLACES CONCRETEPRIOR TO FINAL ACCEPTANCE.10. AN ENCROACHMENT PRMIT WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ANY WORK IN THE CITY R.O.W.SCOPE OF WORKSPECIAL FEATURES (ADU)
