<br />NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE
<br />For Hearing Report of Viewers Upon
<br />the Petition for Abandonment and
<br />Alteration of a Public Road, Peti-
<br />tioned for by C. A. Kelley and
<br />Others in Dent Road District.
<br />To INon-Consenting Land Owners:
<br />In pursuance of an order of the Board
<br />of Supervisors of the County of San Joa-
<br />quin, State of California, made on the
<br />3d day of November, 1903, you are here-
<br />by notified that the said Board of Super-
<br />visors have appointed Tuesday, the Sth
<br />day of December, .1903, at 2 o'clock, p. m.,
<br />at the Courthouse, in the City of Stock-
<br />ton, as the time and place for hearing
<br />the report, of viewers appointed by the,
<br />said Board of Supervisors on the 6th day
<br />of October, 1903, to view and locate the
<br />proposed alteration and abandonment of
<br />a public, road in Dent Township, as peti-
<br />tioned for by C. A. Kelley et al. The
<br />general route or, description is as fol-
<br />lows, Ito -wit:
<br />Commencing on the north line of the
<br />French Camp road and on the section line
<br />between sections 2 and 3 T. 2 S.. R. 9 •-B.,
<br />M. D. B. and M., and run thence for the
<br />center line of road, north on the section
<br />1= 'between sections 2 and 3, T. 2 S:,, -
<br />R. •9 E.,, and sections 34 and 35, T., 1 S.,
<br />R 9 E„ to a point 30 feet, south of the
<br />seiction corner common 'to sections 26, 27,
<br />34 and 35, T. 1 S., R. 9 E., thence west
<br />1000 feet to the east line of the Mariposa
<br />or Lone Tree road as fenced.
<br />We find that the road to be abandoned
<br />commences at the intersection of the
<br />Mariposa or Lone Tree road with the sec-
<br />tion 'line between sections 27 and 34, T. 1
<br />S.; R. 9 E., and rums thence in a south-
<br />east direction 9000 feet, more or less; to
<br />Intersect the French Camp road in sec-
<br />tion 2, T. 2 S„ R. 9 E.
<br />The said road to be sixty (60) feet in
<br />width throughout its entire length.
<br />And you are further notified to be pres-
<br />ent at said time and place and contest
<br />the approval of, said report if you see fit
<br />and .show cause, if any you have, why
<br />said report'shouid not be approved and
<br />said road finally established.
<br />Said proposed road passes over the -land
<br />of J. H. Owen, E. S. Pillsbury, C. A.
<br />Kelley, as guardian, and Wm. Campbell.

<br />clerk of the printer and publisher of the DAILY RECORD, a newspaper
<br />regularly printed, published and circulated in said County of San Joaquin,
<br />State of California, and as such principal clerk he had charge of all the legal
<br />notices and advertisements in said newspaper; that said DAILY RECORD,
<br />is and was at all the times mentioned in this affidavit, a newspaper of
<br />general circulation, published for the dissemination of local and telegraphic
<br />news and intelligence of a general character, having a bona fide subscrip-
<br />tion list of paying subscribers, and was not devoted to the interests, nor
<br />published for the entertainment, of any particular class, profession, trade,
<br />calling, race or denomination, or any number thereof; and that on the

<br />newspaper had been established, printed and published in the City of Stock-
<br />ton, in said County and State for more than one year; that the notice, of
<br />which the annexed is a printed copy, was printed and published in said
