<br />RULU AS under and by virtue of Chapter 767 of the Statutes of Imp Certain highways, therein
<br />named and drscrt1*d are declared to be and are classified as secondary State highways, including
<br />certain routes or highways in the County of San Joaquin, as hereinafter described, and
<br />WiIlU.AS in accordance with the provisions of said Chapter 767, and in accordance with the provis•
<br />ions of Section 363r of the Political Code (Chapter 3P6 of the Statutes of 1933), the Department
<br />of Public forks, proposes, on August 21, 1W3, to take over for maintenance the following descri-

<br />the Jenny Lird road junction near Stone Corral, a distance of 22 miles more or less in San Joaq-
<br />uin County.

<br />3 miles east of Tracy, a distance of 10 miles more or less in San Joaquin ounty.

<br />Escalon, thence easterly to a point on the San Joaquin-Stanislaus County line, being a point ap-
<br />proximately 3-1/2 miles east of Escalon, a distance of 17 miles more or less in San Joaquin Count .

<br />Beginning at a point on the Contra Costa- San Joaquin County line at its intersection with the
<br />Borden Highway at Old River, thence easterly over the Borden Highway for a distance of 5 miles
<br />more or less to and across the Middle River Draw Bridge, thence northeasterly for a distance of
<br />4 miles more or less, to the Borden•Highway's junction with the Garwood Ferry Road, thence east-
<br />erly on the Garwood Ferry road via the new draw bridge under construction over the San Joaquin
<br />River to the westerly city limits of Stockton on Charter war, thence esmt on Charter Way to E1
<br />Dorado Street, said E1 Dorado Street being an extension of state Highway Route 5 in Stockton.
<br />Beginning again at the junction of State Highway Route 4 and the Farmington Road, being a
<br />point approximately 1 1/2 miles southeast of the Stockton city limits measured along said Route
<br />4, thence easterly over the Farmington road through Farmington to the junction of the Farmington-
<br />Copperopolis and Farmington -Knight s Ferry roads, approximately one mile east of Farmington,
<br />thence northeasterly on the Farmington-Copperopolis road to a point on the San Joaquin-Stanislaus
<br />County line, being a point approximately 5 1/4 miles east of Farmington measured along said road
<br />a distance of 37 miles more or less in San Joaquin County.

<br />Beginnine at the intersection of State Highway Route 4 at Wilson Way and the Waterloo Road
<br />ar the city limits of Stockton, thence northeasterly over the Waterloo Road to Waterloo, thence
<br />northerly on the said road to its junction with State Highway Route 24, approximately 1.8 miles
<br />southwesterly of Loekeford, a distance of 15.5 miles more or less. Beginning again at Clements
<br />at the junction with State Highway Route 24, thence northeasterly all* the Clements -Iona Road
<br />for a distance of 8.5 miles more or less to a point on the San Joaquin-Amador County line, being
<br />a point approximately 8.5 miles south of Iona measured along said; road, a distance of 24 miles
<br />more or less in San Joaquin County, which said roads are existing travelable roads between the
<br />termini of and approximately on the routes of the authorised State highways, as described in
<br />said Chapter 767, Statutes of 1833,

<br />until such t-me as the State highways are constructed and open to travel between said termini►

<br />over far maintenance said county roads and to agree to resume jurisdiction over and rem -

<br />Joaquin in the manner provided by law, said County agree, and it des data sires• to testae
