BEFORE MOD BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN JOAQUIN, <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA. <br />Petition to vacate, discon- <br />tinue, abandon and abolish a <br />certain Public Highway in <br />Road District No. One, <br />000 <br />TO THE HONORABLE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF <br />SAN JOAQUIN, STATE OF CALIFORNIA: <br />The undersigned, your petitioners, represent and <br />show: <br />First: That each of the ten persons whose names <br />are signed to this petition are freeholders of Douglas Town- <br />ship, County of San Joaquin, State of California, and that <br />they are taxable therein for road purposes. <br />Second: That each of your petitioners is a resi- <br />dent of said ,Road. District. <br />Third: That ten of your petitioners will be bene- <br />fited by having the said public highway hereinafter described <br />declared unnecessary for present or prospective public use. <br />Fourth: That we desire your Honorable body to va- <br />cate, discontinue, abandon and abolish the following described <br />public highway in said Road District No. One in Douglas Town- <br />ship, San Joaquin County, which is laid out and more parti- <br />cularly described as.follows, to -wit: <br />All that portion of the following described right-of-way <br />lying East of a line 30 feet .mast of the 1/4 Section line North <br />and South in Section 10, T. 1 N. R. 8 E., ICI. D. B. & M. <br />Commencing at a point on the center line of the A. S. <br />Drais Road No. 326, which is 265 feet South of the center of Sec- <br />tion 10, T. 1 N. R. 8 0., and run thence for the center line of <br />a 60-foot rip,,ht-of-way South 31 °-16' 3. 139.7 feet, thence South <br />260-5' West 165.8 feet to the center of the said A. S. Drais <br />Road No, 326. <br />
