<br />pursuance of an order of the Board of
<br />Supervisors of the county of San Joa-
<br />quin, State of California, made on the
<br />6th day of December, 1904, you a -re
<br />hereby notified that the said Board of
<br />Supervisors have appointed Wednes-
<br />day, the 4th day of January, 1905, at
<br />2 o'clock p. m., at the Courthouse, in
<br />the city of Stockton, as the time and
<br />'place for hearing the report of viewers
<br />appointed by the said Board of Super-,'
<br />visors on the 8th day of October, 1904,
<br />to view and locate a public road in
<br />Dent and Castoria .townships, as peti-
<br />tioned for by John W. Davidson et al.
<br />'The general route or description is as.
<br />follows, to -wit:
<br />Commencing for the center line at
<br />the, corner to sections 26, 27, 34 and 35, '
<br />T. 2 S., R. 7 E., M. D. B. & M., and run
<br />thence west on the section line P288
<br />feet to the corner common to sections
<br />27, 28, 33, and 34 of said township and
<br />range, .thence south 2641 feet, thence '
<br />west 5210 feet to a point 30 feet west',
<br />of the section' line north . and south
<br />between 32 and 33, said township and
<br />range, and to a point on the McMullen i'
<br />levee, thence along said levee south
<br />646 fee;., thence S. 2 degrees, W. 520
<br />feet, thence S. 34 (le --sees 310 minutes,
<br />W. 1236 feet, thence S. 52 degrees, W.
<br />389 feet, thence S. 65 degrees, 30 min-
<br />utes, W. 610 feet, thence N. 89 degrees
<br />15 minutes, W. 3774 feet, thence S.
<br />70 degrees, W. 1119 feet, thence S. 58
<br />degrees, 45 minutes, W. 614 feet, to the
<br />Durham Ferry road. Viewers state
<br />that if the road were located on the
<br />section line east and west one and one-
<br />half miles north of the beginning of
<br />the road as petitioned for it would be
<br />very much cheaper and -answer the
<br />needs of the public nearly as well.
<br />And you are further notified to be
<br />present at said One and place and
<br />contest the approval of said report if
<br />you see fit and show cause, if any you
<br />have,. why said report should not be
<br />approved.and said road finally estab
<br />lished.
<br />Said proposed road passes over the
<br />land of Jos. Wille, R. T. Melton, Thos.
<br />Fredrick, Mrs. McMullin, W. Trahern,
<br />G. W. Trahern, Mrs. McMullen.
