UDALL <br />87 JAN 20 PH 4: 18 <br />:REXG 4DED A-1�AESF <br />.FFFEXEMPT <br />BEFORE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN JOAQUIN <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />R-87- I LI <br />RESOLUTION AND ORDER VACATING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF <br />COMETA ROAD LOCATED SOUTH OF DODDS ROAD <br />WHEREAS, it has been requested of this Board of Supervisors <br />to vacate, abandon, and discontinue in the Fifth Supervisorial <br />District, a.portion of Cometa Road, located south of Dodds Road <br />described as follows, to wit: <br />A portion of Section fourteen (14), Township one (1) South, <br />Range nine (9) East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, more <br />particularly described as follows: <br />Commencing at the northeast corner of said Section fourteen.; <br />thence North 890 29' 20" West along the north line of said <br />Section,f ourteen, being the centerline of Dodds Road (40 feet <br />wide), 1444.27 feet; thence South 0° 30' 40" West, 30.00 feet to <br />the most westerly corner of that certain tract of land described <br />in deed to County of San Joaquin, recorded in Volume 1083, page <br />84, Book of Official Records of San Joaquin County, and being the <br />TRUE`POINT OF BEGINNING: thence along the southwesterly line of <br />said County land, southeasterly on a curve to the right, radius <br />1464.95 feet (the long chord of which bears South 74' 47' 15" <br />East, 743.55 feet) an arc distance of 751.78 feet; thence from a <br />tangent that bears North 60° 05' 10" West, northwesterly on a <br />curve to the right, radius 242.21 feet (the long chord of which <br />bears North 400 51' 27" West, 159.54 feet), an arc distance of <br />162.57 feet to the northeasterly line of said County land; thence <br />along said northeasterly line, from a tangent that bears North <br />650 45' 19" West, northwesterly on a curve to the left, radius <br />1524.95 feet (the long chord of which bears North 690 33' 33" <br />West, 202.34 feet), an arc distance of 202.49 feet to a point <br />that is thirty (30) feet southerly of (measured at right angles) <br />said north line of Section fourteen, thence North 89" 2.91-20" <br />West, parallel with said north line of Section fourteen, a <br />distance of 423.55 feet to the true point beginning. <br />Containing 0.525 acre, more. or less. <br />WHEREAS, the abandonment of said portion of Cometa Road <br />removes excess right of way which is not required for street or <br />highway purposes and; <br />WHEREAS, on April 2, 1986, said proposal to vacate and <br />abandon said portion of Cometa Road South of Dodds Road was <br />referred to the San Joaquin County'Department of Planning and <br />Building Inspection for its report and recommendation, pursuant <br />to Section 65402.(a) of the Government Code, and a report from the <br />* p rij p9b m Q it,,, ReA roLcayl. -4337 1A <br />
