B 0 N D. <br />..................... <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA, . ) <br />( Before the Board of Supervisors of the <br />C OUP?TY OF SAN JOAQUIN, ) <br />County aforesaid. <br />i9t,". t ar. irz�J <br />In the matter of the petition Of inhabitant of Elkhorn <br />Road -District in said County, taxable in said Road District for <br />road purposes, for the laying out a new private road in Elkhorn <br />Road District, in the County cf San Joaquin aforesaid, of <br />Twenty (20) feet in width, and commencing for the center line of <br />said road at a point in a line running East and blest through <br />the center of Section Thirty—two (32) Township Three (3) North, <br />Range Seven (7) East, V.D.B. &M. , distant ten (I0) feet East of <br />the line dividing . the SouthEast quarter (Q) of said Section from <br />the South hest quarter (1) thereof alid run thence South ten (I0) <br />feet distant, and parallel to said dividing line to the Northern <br />boundary of a public road bounding said; quarters on the South. <br />WHEREAS, one inhabitant of the Road District aforesaid, <br />taxable in said Road District for road purposes is about to <br />petition the Board of Supervisors of said County of San Joaquin <br />for the laying out a new private road as hereinbefore described, <br />and, whereas the double amount of the probable cost of the viewing <br />and laying out said road -is $100.00. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, we, the lndersigned, residents of said <br />County of San Joaquin, in consideration of said premises, do <br />jointly and sav rally undertake, in the ,aid sum of One Hiind.re( <br />Dollars, and promise to the effect that we -will pay to the people <br />of the State of California all the costs of viewing and surveying <br />said new road in case prayer of the petitioners for said new <br />road is not granted, and the said new road is finally not opened, <br />and we the undersigned residents of said Bounty of San Joaquin <br />in consideration of said premises, do jointly and severally further <br />unddrtake and promise to the effect that we will pay tc the <br />
