<br />and a resident of said county, and was at and during all said times the
<br />principal clerk of the printer and publisher of the STOCKTON
<br />RECORD, a newspaper of general circulation printed and
<br />published daily, Sundays and holidays excepted, in the
<br />City of Stockton, in said County of San Joaquin,
<br />State of California; that said STOCKTON RECORD is and
<br />was at all times herein mentioned, a newspaper of general circulation
<br />as that term is defined by Section 446o of the Political Code, and, as
<br />provided by said section, is published for the dissemination of local
<br />and telegraphic news and intelligence of a general characters having, a
<br />bona fide subscription list of paying subscribers, and is not devoted
<br />to the interests, or published for the entertainment or instruction of
<br />a particular class, profession, trade, calling, race or denomination, or
<br />for the entertainment and instruction of any number of such classes,
<br />professions, trades, callings, races or denominations; that at all said
<br />times said newspaper had been established, printed and published in
<br />the said City of Stockton, in said County and State, at regular
<br />intervals for more than one year preceding the first publication of the
<br />notice herein mentioned; that said notice was set in type not smaller
<br />than nonpareil and was preceded with words printed in black face
<br />type not smaller than nonpareil, describing and expressing in general
<br />terms, the urport and eharac r of the notice intended to e given;

<br />of Supervisors of the County of San Joa-
<br />quin, State of California, made on the
<br />, h day of February, 1909, you are hereby.'
<br />notified that she "said Board of Super-,
<br />visors have appointed Tuesday, _the 6th
<br />day of •M`arch, `1906; at 2 o'clock p. m.;
<br />at the Courthouse, in the City of Stock-
<br />ton, as the time and place for hearing
<br />the report of viewers appointed by the
<br />said Board of Supervisors on the 3rd
<br />day of January, 1906, to view and locate.

<br />certain, county road No. 221 in section th 85 of e Wellor Grant and at a Point
<br />10 feet south of the north line of the
<br />land of Stark Smith= in said. section 85

<br />a_ 20 .foot strip of land nortfi 72 degrees 55
<br />minutes east; parallel with and 10 feet
<br />'from the north line of the land of said
