Subdivision six of Section 2686, Political Code, requires as follows: <br />[The Viewers may also in their discretion, or by order of the Board of Supervisors report upon <br />the feasibility and cost of any other route than the one petitioned for which would subserve the <br />same purposes, and also report as to the necessity of a greater or the practicability of a less width of <br />road than petitioned for.] <br />We fina that the route over the lands of S.B.Smith and <br />Sattie Smith will cost the petitioner so large an amount of money <br />ghat we have surveyed another route. Viz:— Beginning at a point <br />)n the East side of the Hornage Road,Survey No.3170,and S.100-43'E. <br />742 feet from the douth side of the Stockton and Copperppolis <br />lailroad right of way;thenee N.740-43'E.2310 feet over the land <br />)f the Beecher Estate to the land of Chas.A.Beecher;thence <br />4.740-431R. 59 feet to the reservation of the Stockton and <br />;opperopolis Railroad Company. All being in Sections 85 and 92 <br />)f the C.M.Weber Grant. The road to be 20 feet wide for its <br />3ntire length.' <br />The land of George Finkbohner 39 on the.North or opposite <br />side of the railroad track and can be easily approached from this <br />road. <br />The property owners along the last recommended road do <br />iot object to the road passing over their property. <br />A road of greater width than that petitioned for is not necessary, and a less <br />width of road than that , petitioned for .Js�s not practicable. <br />
