NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE FIXED FOR THE HEARING OF THE RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ABANDON A PORTION OF THE W. R. JACOBS ROAD, NO. 338, IN THE COUNTY OF SAN JOAOUIN, STATE OF CALIFORNIA To all freeholders in Road District #l, San Joaquin County, State of California, and to all other persons to whom it may concern. YOU, AND EACH OF YOU, ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED AND INFORMED: That there has been filed with the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Joaquin, Mate of California, a Resolution of Inten- tion. to abandon a portion of the W. R. Jacobs Road No. 338, described as follows, towits Beginning at an iron pipe set for the center of Section 81 T. 1 N. R. 6 E., M. D. B. & M., said point being on the northerly line of the W. R. Jacobs Road No. 338, and running thence N. 89051? W. along the northerly line of said road a distance of 259.74 feet to a point; thence crossing said road S. 650 47f 1811 E. a distance of 147.16 feet to a point on the southerly line of said road; thence S. 890 51f E. along the southerly line of said road a dis- tance of 976.87 feet to a point; thence S. 640 561 E. a distance of 165.00 feet, more or less, to a point on the westerly bank of the San Joaquin River; thence northeasterly along said westerly bank of the San Joaquin' River a distance of 60.00 feet, more or less, to a point on the northerly line of said W. R. Jacobs Road; thence N. 640 561 W. to a point on the southerly line of the N. E. of said Section 8; thence N. 890 511 W. along the southerly line of said N. E. 4 of Section 81 and being along the northerly line of said W. R. Jacobs Road No. 338, a distance of 851.50 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. Containing 1.67 acres, more or less. That said Resolution'of Intention to abandon a portion of W. R. Jacobs Road No. 338 has been passed and adopted. That said Board of Supervisors has fixed the 14th day of August, 1944 at the hour of 10:00 ofclock A. M. on said day at the regular place of sitting of this Board, on the second floor of the County Courthouse of the County of San Joaquin, St Ate of California, in the City of Stockton.
