PS-2004093 - Rider #2 May 6, 2025 <br />SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR <br />LAMMERS WATER MAIN <br />ENCROACHMENT PERMIT <br />Lammers Road southbound/northbound lanes from West Schulte Road to Valpico Road are <br />permitted to be closed during the following periods: <br />Saturday May 10th from 7am to 7pm. <br />Saturday May 17th at 7am to Sunday May 18th at 5pm. <br />Saturday May 24th from 7am to 7pm. <br />Placement of temporary traffic control devices, including striping, an operable temporary traffic <br />signal, K-rails, and associated signage, shall all be completed by 7:00 AM. <br />Upon completion of the Schulte/Lammers jack and bore operation, removal of temporary traffic <br />control devices and the restoration of the original traffic configuration shall also be completed by <br />7:00 AM. <br />Bore pits and any other removed pavement sections associated with the jack and bore operation <br />shall be restored per County Standard R-29, “Trench Cut Policy”. Temporary cutbacks will not be <br />allowed. <br />Two weeks prior to rolling lane closures, CMS boards shall be updated to notify the traveling <br />public of upcoming lane closures, dates of lane closures, and times of lane closures. Rolling lane <br />closures may not start before 8:30 am. <br />The temporary traffic signal timings are shown in the attached “Temporary Traffic Signal Timings” <br />document. Field Engineering staff shall be notified of any modifications to the timings listed. Field <br />Engineering staff shall be notified of any signal outage immediately. <br />Maintain traffic controls for all roads. Traffic control delays shall not exceed 15 minutes. <br />Two-way traffic shall be maintained during non-working hours with excavated areas backfilled or <br />plated. During working hours, two-way traffic control shall be maintained with one lane open and <br />appropriate flaggers. The contractor shall submit traffic control plans for all signing, detours, and <br />any lane closure impacting County right-of-way. Traffic control plans shall be submitted two weeks <br />prior to the closure date. <br />Access to all properties shall be maintained at all times except when work is occurring at the <br />access point. Minimal delays will be allowed to provide access within the work zone area. <br />Driveway access shall be fully restored at the end of each workday. Driveways disturbed by the <br />contractor shall be replaced with in-kind or better materials. <br />Residents and businesses shall be notified in writing, as approved by the County, 48 hours in <br />advance of any impacts to their access. <br />Any areas where parking is to be restricted shall have signs noting the restrictions in place at least <br />48 hours in advance. <br />School Buses shall be passed through the work zone with minimal delays.
