See Photo 2 dated 06/25/2018. It is assumed the water in the aqueduct is not responsible
for this condition and so this condition does not warrant a defect at this time. Compared to previous photos, there has been no
significant change. In addition, on the Span 1 side the top of the footing is exposed its entire width. The condition of the Span 1 side
of the footing was not confirmed during this investigation due to the restricted access from the homeless encampment.
There were no significant defects noted.
The quantity includes the monolithic RC wingwalls at each abutment.
Abutment 1 and 3 were not inspected during this investigation due to the presence of a homeless encampment below these spans.
This quantity includes those piles exposed under Pier 2 and the piles not visible for inspection.
There were no significant defects noted.
Span 2 is cantilevered with a suspended span. There is a visible sag in Span 2, estimated to be 2 inches in displacement, noticed by
sighting down the bridge rail. No defect is warranted at this time.
There is a vertical crack up to 0.05 inches wide and is approximately 4 feet long on the interior face of Girder 1 near Pier 2 on the
Span 2 side. There is a failed patch over this condition which makes it difficult to accurately quantify the width. (See Photo 3 dated
06/06/2022).
There is a hairline diagonal crack in the exterior face of Girder 4 in Span 3 near Pier 3. This crack is up to 5 feet long and has light
efflorescence. (See Photo 2 dated 06/25/2018). This condition was not confirmed during this investigation due to the restricted access
from the homeless encampment below Span 2 at Pier 3 and near Abutment 4.
The elastomeric bearings at Pier 2 are beginning to bulge and crack. (See Photo 4 06/06/2022). This condition has been previously
reported and no significant changes were noted.
