Both abutments have a history of movement in the longitudinal direction, which is visually <br />evident by the cracks and patched spalls on the abutment diaphragms. There is an 8 inch diameter spall in the Abutment 1 face in <br />Bay 3. See Photo 9 dated 06/25/2018. <br />Additionally, the concrete within 12 inches of the groundline at Abutment 3 appears to be delaminated throughout Bay 3.
