Inspection was limited to what can be seen from the deck, through the steel grates <br />and around both abutment embankments. This will be considered a partial routine inspection. A follow up inspection will be conducted to <br />asses the swinging spans and adjacent susbstructure. <br />An Underwater Investigation was performed by the Caltrans Underwater Team on 05/05/2023 and follows the procedures of Section 5.4 <br />of the SM&I Inspection Procedures Manual. All elements listed in the "Underwater Elements Investigated" section of the report were <br />inspected. For more information, see the 05/05/2023 inspection report or the relevant elements in the element table. <br />SUBSTRUCTURE <br />The columns were formed using white PVC column forms.
