(See Photo 3 dated 06/26/2018). This condition has been previously reported and no significant changes were noted.
There are longitudinal and transverse cracking up to 0.05 inches wide and spaced as close as 12 inches on center in the exposed
portions of the decks. These cracks appear to be reflective in the remaining AC overlay, indicating there is cracking throughout the
deck surface. (See Photos 1 and 2 dated 06/26/2018). This condition has been previously reported and no significant changes were
noted.
It is estimated that the recordable portions of these conditions account for approximately 80% of the deck area.
There are longitudinal, pattern and transverse cracks up to 0.5 inches wide spaced as close as 4 inches (pattern cracks) to 2 feet
(longitudinal and transverse cracks) in the AC overlay throughout. (See Photos 1 and 2). This condition has been previously reported
and no significant changes were noted.
Non-Routine Inspection Element Notes:
Non-Routine Inspection Element Notes:
UWI (05/28/2020): See Table 3 of the report from AECOM. There are 1.3 square feet of CS 2 and 1.9 square feet of CS 3 (1 square
meter each) deck soffit spalls. The CS 3 spalls have associated exposed reinforcing with section loss. A hands-on inspection of
exposed reinforcing steel was not possible by the diver.
The following was documented when the channel was lowered and inspected during the Underwater Inspection on 05/08/2014:
"There is a diagonal soffit crack up to 0.08 in wide in Bay 2 near Abutment 4. There are a few minor to moderate transverse soffit
cracks at random locations in all spans."
It is estimated that the recordable portions of these conditions account for approximately 80% of the deck area.
(58) 5DECK RATING =
(36a) Rail Code 0000
RAIL INFORMATION
(36b) Transition (36c) Appr Guardrail (36d) Appr Guardrail End 55Roadway Speed MPH
JOINT - APPROACH - RAIL
