The condition does not
warrant a defect at this time. See Photos 15 through 19 dated 03/19/2019.
Inspection reports from 1999 to 2015 noted a spall on Column 2 of Bent 2. The spall was noted to be 8 inches x 18 inches, exposed
a segment of vertical rebar, and was located at the base of the column. Due to the height of the sediment this condition could not be
confirmed during this inspection. The coding from the 2015 inspection report was retained.
There were no significant defects noted.
The monolithic wingwalls have been included in the quantity of Element 215.
There is a construction cold joint up to 10 feet wide x 6 inches high in the original Abutment 1 face. The cementious material is no
longer present and the coarse aggegate is visible but sound. This condition does not warrant a defect at this time. See Photo 2 dated
03/09/2021.
There are spalls up to 24 inches long x 8 inches tall x 4 inches deep with exposed rebar with minor surface corrosion in the top of the
abutment diaphragm in the left widening at both Abutment 1 and 5. (See Photos 28 and 29 dated 03/19/2019). This condition has
been previously reported and no significant changes were noted.
There were no significant defects noted.
