There were no significant defects noted. <br />Prior to placement of the slope protection, the following was noted in 2013: The footing at Abutment 1 was exposed up to eighteen <br />inches along the full length of the abutment. The top upstream end of the Abutment 3 footing was exposed six inches below the top <br />edge of footing for 3/4 of the left side of the abutment. <br />There is rip rap along both abutments but does not extend down along the embankment (see Photo 3). There were no significant <br />defects noted.
