The footing was encountered with probing and exposed vertically approximately 6 <br />inches. No undermining was encountered. <br />The Pier 2 footing was probed and visually inspected through clear water and it was determined that the previously exposed footing <br />at the downstream (left) side of Pier 2 has agraded on the Span 1 side.
